Can we bring our pet?

We understand that pets are part of the family. In order to accommodate everyone we do allow pets to travel in Lucille our Orange van. Our own dog Lola joins us in Lucille. However, Thiodor and Winston are kept pet-free for allergy sufferers.

Pet travel is subject to written approval at the time of booking. We will charge an additional £25 pet cleaning fee. You will also be charged for any damage caused by your pet.

Pets MUST NOT be left in the van unattended at any time. We also ask that you cover the seats, with a blanket/towel to avoid any damage to the upholstery. There is a limit of one dog per hire and unfortunately we do not allow large breed dogs, as it is just not practical.

How different is a VW campervan to drive?

You will need to adjust your driving style. Although our vans are new, they are not the same as a modern vehicle! No power steering and a big steering wheel, a great big gear lever and no automatic gearbox. Air conditioning comes in the form of winding down the window, by Hand!

A camper van adventure is all about taking a break from the hustle and bustle of modern day life, take your time, it will take the first 30 minutes or so to get used to a slower pace of life.
